Be In Touch....

Just got “NEWS” through ORKUT, that two of my friends got married, when they actually uploaded their wedding pics, one of my friend got relocated….one of my friend is back from his foreign trip….. and the list is endless…

I wonder are we expanding at such a high rate that “TO BE IN TOUCH” is not possible…..
Or are we so much busy with ourselves that it’s hard to involve all…??

[V] on Campus

Was watching [V] on campus, they all were in IIM Lucknow. People out there were celebrating some fest, which was covered by [V].
They made up there mind to have a glimpse of hostel, entered one of the room , two boys and room was a complete mess, VJ was actually commenting about the mess in which these people were living(who knows even VJ might be in the same condition when he might be in college).
Anyways, then he asked one of the guys- If you want to find socks in this "mess" how would you do?

The guy replied- pointing towards his feet, I never remove them :-)
To every complicated problem,Solution is quite simple!!!!

29th Feb!

Wishing all a Happy Birthday who were born on this day.
Anyone among us…. Who’s b’day falls on this auspicious day?

Anyways…. Apart from the “Union Budget by Chidambaram Uncle” there is nothing I could find special about this day?

But I was thinking, if there exists a day which comes in four years? Why don’t we celebrate it?
After all, it has something special ….. we have an extra day.....for the extra work or extra fun or extra sleep....(I'll go for the last option;-))

What you guys think?
Or rather…let me know if anybody thought of something similar… and has something to do special today?

Office with Slippers...

Ever wondered how does it feel when you reach office and you realize- Oh I m in my slippers!!!!
Yesterday , I faced the same situation and just to mind you my slippers are not at all fancy but as simple as a 'LAKHANI ' slipper could be, with white base and blue steps.:-)

And I realized that I'm wearing slippers as soon as I put in my first foot inside the campus. It was like god waiting for the right moment and suddenly there was an "akashwani"- vats aaj aap "khadau" mein aayi hain :-).

I cursed myself as much as I could, for such a perfect combination of attire, a completely formal dress matched with a pair of "lakhani slippers"

Anyways… nothing could be done now, I reached my place and thought of not getting up whole day from my desk. But that was next to impossible as you need to get up many times ;-).

Finally, it was our tea time and all were pinging me to get up and reach canteen. Ahhhhh a tough task to execute. Finally I decided who cares… nobody even bothers to look at me, so don't worry there is no one who would notice that you are wearing slippers….

But I was wrong, as soon as I started climbing stairs, and who all passed by were very keen to know what I have in my feet's!!!! Some gave a strange look, some smiled and some were confused as there face appeared blank to me. And some reacted as if I have done the greatest crime in this world.

Finally I landed in canteen, and one of them shouted- oyeye tere pair ko kya hua?tu chappal mein??.
I didn't had any answer, except to smile ….:-)

Another Weekend…

Why this damn weekend flies so soon, it's rightly said, time doesn't melts but evaporates!!!!

Just few more hours and again the grinding begins in office….!!!!!

Just one week earlier(at my hometown), on same day/same time I was enjoying winters with roasted tomatoes, potatoes, papad and moreover 'RAJAI'. I swear winter's really give me a kick!!! I don't know the reason but I seriously wait for that season!!!! :-)

And another thing I love is train journey, that too a looooong one, sitting on upper berth, reading novel, or playing cards, getting down on stations for tea and snacks….!!! I really enjoy that. This time I noticed a new thing although, people started carrying laptops!!!And what they would do is watch any movies, or shuffling their own photos and the height is that many even play solitaire!!!! :-)

Anyways, luckily on my return journey, the guy carrying lappy was playing "Pyaar ke side effects" and he was sitting in such a good angle that provided me a perfect view of his screen. So "Chori chori chupke humne film dekhi" ;-)

So talking about my weekend, yesterday I watched "Jodha-Akbar" and I should say I'm in love with this guy "Hritik Roshan". Damn man. What an actor he is, even though Aishwarya did exist, but I could not even dare to remove my eyes from him.He has done full justice to his role, and I'm sure nobody else could have done it. About the movie, Ashutosh has really put in efforts and the results are absolutely fantastic. The movies doesn't leaves its grip at any point. It has everything that could be expected from a period, romantic film.

On Sunday, bad day for Indians indeed…. I really hate Sundays when India looses….!!!!
It was more of a expected results after aussies scored a 317…..and India were 56-4…..!!!!
But , enjoyed some good shots by Gautam Ghambhir. What I enjoyed the most was 3 consecutive no balls which resulted in 3 consecytive free hits.... that too from Brett Lee....;-)

Life and Luxuries

I am really grateful to my professional life… and why not? Its been 3.5 years, and I have so many friends… been to so many places….met so many people, enjoyed so much…. And I can’t find a single reason to hate it except that sitting on this dumb chair in front of an idiot box I did gained some weight. ;-)

But still, I m enjoying, those deadlines, those stretched working hours, those conf calls, those office politics, those coffee breaks, those pizza parties…list is endless…

The only side effect I could see is that I hate to actually work ;-).

Yups, that’s very much true…. Going out in sun, traveling in sleeper class, standing in a queue, no online facility these are just few instances where I find myself uncomfortable.

Wondering, if I spent major part of my life doing this, how could just 3.5 years change me!!!!

Luxuries make life more horrible….

Not yet Married

Just read this guys….

I was chatting with one of my colleague (read it as client)
Me: Whats the local time there?(As he is in Budapest)
He: Its 7.10 am
ME: Ohh so you came in quite early, Did you sleep tight?
He: I have to drop my wife to airport at 5.20 am.
Me: Oops, quite a busy day for you
He: I m still in coma.
Me: I agree, and with wife out of town, should be more miserable
He: On the other side, I m actually enjoying it, as 4 days of freedom ;), but I have my 2 daughters to keep an eye on me, they are just absolute clone of my wife ;-)
Me: Wives can never leave their hubbies ALONE
He: Yup, and to add to that, my mother –in –law is also in.
Me: :-)
Me: That’s the spice of life.
He: Do you have children?
Me: !!!!!!
Me : nopes I m not married yet
He: Child are not nightmare, they make your world. You would realize once you have kids. They are yopur part. There smile, playing with them, running behind them,, there crying, there touch is just so sweet. You can forget every tensions with them. You make up better bonding with your partner after you have kids, you feel like you are born again, every thing makes feel you are so special. After you go back from office, and come running towards you….ahhhhhhhh… nothing else in this world is more satisfying then this…
He: Ask your partner, and talk about it, then you will feel that all that I wrote above are not just words…
Me.: In shock state….. I m still not married in India means, that I m single….
He: Oh!!!!

Waking Up!!!!!

Was busy with online conversation with one of my friend…

I asked him…
Me: So tell me…what are you going to do after 5-6 years, when u have kids, a beautiful house, 2-3 cars to own, highly qualified post??
He: Hmmmmmm…
He: Early Morning ,wife would help kids to get ready, And then would come to me, will kiss me And would insist me to wake up. I would give a tight hug to her And then she would kick me to bathtub :-).
Me: I laffed….

Indeed a very romantic morning…!!!!! :-)

But I wonder, why everything is so usual??

Why is it that every time… the WAKING thing is done by gals?
Even gals like to be pampered, infact its just not gifts that could make us special….!!!!An unexpected hug from your dear darling hubby……, a walk on roads, an unexpected head maasage… and the list could continue….. :-)

A bed tea offered by “HUBBY” with a smile is surely a good omen to kick off your day …. ;-)

Traffic And WFH....

The most progressive sector is IT/Service Provider, and it has a very good concept of ‘WFH’ ie Work From Home. Still, there are many firms which do not support this , and want there employees to show physical presence as well.

But I’ m actually in support of it, Whys so? Let me make it clear in the coming lines.

IT… people are actually preferring it, as it has money, luxury and moreover roaming abroad that too free of cost. Now as money comes in, so are the demands to spent life in luxury to own a house, to shop in multiplex, to watch film in Cineplex, to own a 4-wheeler…and what not!!!!

Even if we consider 1 % of people are working in IT industry in India, and only 1% of the number calculated , commute with their own 4-wheeler/2-wheeler, sit at home and work, how much congestion. Traffic jams, blockage could be avoided?

People come from small town to big cities for job, and now with job and money who wouldn’t prefer to own a vehicle. Just read this in Pune times that everyday 600 new vehicles lands on city road…that’s a huge number….

We are in an attempt to make flyovers surrounding city, connecting two city…. With some estimation that it would have capacity of some random number, but why don’t we think the case that it is an always increasing number and with TATA NANO (although I salute Mr Ratan Tata for such a nice work- for common man) , is there any estimate how the graph would shoot up??

We can’t come up with rules , of banning the personal vehicle on road always use company’s transport… but we should really come out with something that’s beneficial for all.

I agree WFH has many disadvantages as well., but still the process is more environment friendly.

New Year with New things……..

Just 6 days passed, and it seems that 2008 is not good for Indian cricket. We have already lost 2 test matches, one due to our faults and other due to "GOD(-DAMN) UMPIRES".

Whom to blame?

Eve teasing and abusing gals was on full swing on this new year eve. And there is Mr Bal thackerey protecting Maharastra police!!!!!

Whom to blame??

Finally there is some worry for Indian government…French Prez Nicolas Sarkozy would be visiting with his girlfriend Carla Bruni.

Oooooohhhlalalallalaalaaa……Now whom to blame, but I'm very curious what people sitting in Delhi would decide?? ;-)

Scrutiny of MTV Roadies has begun …. And I was wondering how could the supreme selectors Mr Raghu and Mr Nikhil Chinnapa select a guy whom they say ""Kya Dhakkan hain??".I seriously doubt their capabilities. MTV is really going down with its standard. Some one please help them.

Hey guys did you watched the new Lead India ad(Yup I know its old a bit now), but it seriously cute and motivating….Isn't!!! :-)

From my end…. Nothing new but found something new in my life . Aaaahhhhhhhh… Change in life keeps you going….

Fame or Business

Aishwarya, Amitabh, Shahrukh and now its Salman… who next??Yup its Madame Tussad’s series of Bollywood people.

Was thinking(Yup sometimes I do that:-)), Is it really to do with these people fame and achievements’ or is it more concerned to business?

A single visit to UK and you may find a lot of Asians, which include Indians as well, and no matter what or which place they are , there heart still beats with Madhuri Dhak-Dhak or Amitabh ‘Shava - Shava’. We all have a madness to follow stars and actually see them , to touch them, and why not after all they are OUR HERO’S.
So if not the actual ones, let’s go for the wax model….
So who are actual spectators’? Not British or Americans but Indians.

And looking out the majority of Indians residing there and Indian tourists visiting UK, its easy for businessmen to come out with a ideas to put holes in our pockets :-).

So now next time you wanna meet any star or diamond visit UK as from Kohinoor to Salman….all are there :-)

Trapped!!

That was indeed more of the filmy incident that happened in my life…recently… Early morning around 7ó clock when I left for office I never thought of being in a situation like this, as usual I parked my vehicle and waited in the lobby for lift, just then lift came I went inside, when I saw a guy hurriedly trying to push button so as to stop the lift, I helped him by pressing the ‘open door’ button from inside. He came in , and thanked me. That was all. Story could have ended here with both of us stopping at there respective floor. But there was a twist, lift came to a halt just after crossing 1st floor. The automatic door didn’t get opened up, which made both of us to think we are trapped. The situation was more worse, as early morning there are hardly any employees to help us. We started banging the doors if someone could listen. But those ‘stupid doors’ were as hard as rock. He pressed the ‘alarm’ button, just thinking may be someone could help us.
I was still continuing with my banging ।Just when I thought of the situation where I’m trapped, smile flashed on my face. He saw me, and I don’t know was it telepathy or frequency match, he said- isn’t all FILMY ISHTYLE?

With the broadest smile I supported him

After about 4-5 mins of banging, and pushing alarm button about 10 times, we were able to hear the voice of gurad, or rather say GOD ;-)। He said – ‘aap log pareshaan mat hoyiye, bus 5-7 min mein lift chalu ho jayegi(Please don’t panic, lift would start again in 5-7 mins time.)’. Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh…. I was relieved, but now I could feel the suffocation, and I started to blabber – are you not feeling uncomfortable? I would die of this heat, these 5 mins would be like standing on a heated oven for me.

He smiled and then said- Nobody could be comfortable in this situation, and even I m feeling hot here, but nothing can’t be done, do you want me blow air with these papers for you(He had some papers in his hand)?

That was really sweet of him – I thought, naah don’t bother, may be I m panicking more। He started to talk a little as in which project you are, which floor, for how long….and some more queries, till then the lift got started and finally I said BYE to him and smiled.

To Picture abhi baaki hain mere dost !!!!!!!!
