Looong Break Finally Over!!

Decisions are what make up your life healthier or inferior and we keep on blaming damn circumstances. Irony of life!!!

Anyways… the last movie I watched in theatre was Welcome to sajjanpur… and after that long break, I got a chance to watch 2 movies consecutively. Hahahahhahahaha…
First was Yes Man…. Go man go… and watch this. !!! Its just about say YES to everything what your heart says… lovely and amazing comedy by Jim Carry. Another one was huh … I’ m just so sacred even to write about it. It was “Rab ne BAna di jodi”… ooooohhhhhh mammamamamamma… Except "rab" I couldn’t find anything… no story, no acting…no lyrics…no direction…. It was just NO NO… !!! And the ticket costs me 180 bucks man, (that’s the reason piracy is on BOOM) but was happy as another friend of mine saw it for 230 bucks. ;-) You see sometimes comparison makes you happier!!!!

Finally…. After looooong break again I back to reading some normal books I mean apart from those domain specific and technical books . Got Fooled by randomness by Nassim Nicholas Taleb and Imagining India by Nitin Nilekani. Just started, so cant tell you much about it.

Then then then… Ho ho ho…. Merry Xmas to all you guys out there…
Our office celebration was really great. Yups, apart from cakes and drinks, they place a Xmas tree at reception and hanged on some wishes to them, which were actually some small small things asked by needy children, and we employees could go there, fetch a wish and turn it into a reality for the kid in short it was BE A SANTA CLAUS for someone. Really it was good!!!!

Finally… this is my last post for this year…
Would update you more as I come back from my vacation…

Happy New year to all, in Advance. I really wish happiness and success to all of you.

God Bless you , Take care and do have a BLAST!!!!

Glorious Ways to Propose :-

  2. Did you know they changed the alphabet? They put U and I together.
  3. Are your legs tired? Because you been running through my mind ALL day long.

  5. Do you believe in love at first sight, or do I have to walk by you again?.
  6. What's that in your eye? Oh...it's a sparkle.
  7. Do you have a map? I just got lost in your eyes.
  8. You can forget about going to heaven because it's sin to look that good.
  9. If I had eleven roses and you, I'd have a dozen.

Comedy At its Best

Yesterday while surfing the channels again I stumbled on STAR One and its favourite serial “Sarabhai vs Sarabhai”. I have actually seen I guess each episode about 4-5 times, but still its ever refreshing!!!!

The perfect chemistry, a family with each individual so different but still living under the same roof. Teasing…fighting… struggling…mockery…chit-chat…gossip…. And what not. The best thing I like about this series is even “criticism could be funny”… Don’t you think so?

Some of the dialogues I just love them…

Indu says… Mein Mard hoon…. !!!!

Maya… Monisha Beta… hiiillllaaa is just sooo midllle class…
Roshesh … mommmmmaaa…. Maine ek nayi kavita likhi hain…..

Monisha… 2 chamach ke saath 1 free thi na…

And sahil above all… the most matured and understanding one!!!!

Dushyant… and his high tech skills… and when he says I’ll explain….

Kudos to the serial and to the actors….!!!

If I have to rate some good comedy serial aired on Indian TV:

Dekh Bhai Dekh - Story of Diwan family
Flop Show – Jaspal Bhatti and his flop jokes…

After long time we got a fresh comedy series with Sarabhai….We are waiting for its season 2… when would it happen?

After Effects Of Mumbai Terror!!

  1. Filmmakers are busy restructuring this with all brands of heroes and heroines’
  2. Each time a politician is seen on TV/city. People are busy counting the number of security guards he is escorted with and then followed by a comment “ iski security mein itne log aur hum log ke liye kahan se aayenge”
  3. The oppositions are no longer “opposing” anything but sitting silently and watching government to work.
  4. About 50 or even more of social groups have been formed online to fight terrorism
  5. Thousands of letter have been written by some BIG SHOTS labeled as suggestion to tighten the security and fight against terror
  6. Suddenly lime light is focused on Mr Pranab Mukherjee” , before Mumbai terror it was Chidabaram Uncle speaking about global economy
  7. Candles sales have been record breaking… , if you ask for candle , the shopkeeper would ask you – aaj kahan peace march hain?
But on a serious note… all the points convey just one thing WE COULD REALLY BRING CHANGE!!!!

Shopping Time!!!

Shopping is many a time termed as “Stress reliever” and especially for women!!! No excuses but even guys find shopping time as the best time. And it also depends with whom you are shopping !!! If you are using your hubby’s/ bf credit card who wouldn’t enjoy it . LOL… just kidding!!!

When you plan for shopping, one common thing asked is – Hey I want to go out to a mall to buy a trousers. Would you come along with me? Ahhhhhh… And then when I visualize me standing outside of the trial room and staring at people and there dresses and doing nothing, just waiting for the person to step out and then I could comment on that.

The question is just one :Kaisi lag rahi hoon mein?Or How’s it?
And so are the responses….
Yaar ek size chota hona chaiye…
Yeh na yahan se thoda ajeeb lag raha hain..
This colour you already have na baby…
No try this… this would fit better
This colour is too dull….
The best question is…

Am I looking fat in this attire? And what you could reply. This is somehow an helpless situation for the responder be it girl/boy, as many a times I find myself in this situation – now what should I say, yes/no!!!! Then I twist it…
yaar tu dekh le… tumhe pehna hain…!!!
That’s one of the reason I don’t like shopping with anyone….. go alone… choose … try them… and buy them… !!! What’s there to discuss and come to a mutual consensus!!!

Many a times even the buyer has to suffer loss… even he is liking the dress… but the responder comments are not positive , he can’t buy it :(.

So my mantra is Go Alone… who else would know your choice better then yourself?

Whats your blood group?

Did anyone ever knew that even blood group is related to what we should eat and what to avoid.
Strange isnt? But research have found that if we eat as per our blood group it could be beneficial to us afterall heart needs blood to pump in and out and if it is healthy... even our HEART could produce sounds like madhuri's dhak-dhak ... ;-)

So here goes the way...

  1. Type A types should basically stick to fruits and vegetables (high carbs / low fat).
They have thicker blood than other blood types, a sensitive immune system,
and should not consume dairy products, animal fats and meats. They are at
a heightened risk for cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer.
  2. Type B types should consume a balanced diet (fruits and vegetables, grains, fish, dairy, meat, but avoid chicken). They have the best chance of bypassing or overcoming
everyday types of diseases, including heart disease and cancer.
  3. Type AB types should consume a mostly vegetarian diet, and only on rare occasions some
fish, meat (no chicken), and dairy.
  4. Type O types should basically stick to a high protein diet (including red meat), low carbs, and enriched with fruits and vegetables. They should limit the intake of wheat germ,
whole wheat products, corn, and avoid dairy products and most nuts.
Type O types are commonly affected with hypothyroidism, high stomach acid
(leading to ulcers), and thinner blood with greater resistance to blood clotting
So whats your blood group?

Me Lucky oye Lucky…

Yup, I’m , I’m I’m…..
Reason being quite simple, my company gave me “holiday” on Eid occasion whereas many of my friends were working and struggling in office. Ahhhh… so coming back to office but after enjoying an extra day is seriously FUN!!!!
But somehow a mid week leave makes you more lethargic and you really don’t want to come back to office again :(
By the time you realize it’s a holiday for you, its end of the day!!! Sigh….
But still… resting…and full day “Aaram”… doing nothing and changing postures on bed in a bit of “gulabi thand” and sipping tea now and then…Ahhhhh… so much pleasure it is!!!
That’s why you get one…and then ask for MORE!!!!!
btw a belated Eid mubarak to all....

How do you react when you meet a Pakistani?

I really don’t know what would be my reaction when I’ll meet a Pakistani in India.

When I was in UK and was returning back to India, I booked a taxi to reach airport, when I was comfortable and relaxed just to strike a conversation I asked driver, how do you manage to drive at night? Don’t you feel sleepy while driving? He said NO, I manage as I sleep during day. His accent was quite what it is of an Indian. I asked him – Are you an Indian? He said No I m Pakistani. The next question he asked was – Are you sacred about that? Yup, I was bit uncomfortable but not sacred for sure. I just answered him – Nopes why should I?

Meeting a Pakistani?

I don’t know, how and what my reaction would be when I’ll meet a person from Pakistan in India and that too after 26/11? Not talking about high celebrity, politician or some ambassador but just a common man like you and me.I’m sure there would be some sort of uneasiness. I won’t say that but trusting at first go would be tough!!!

Don’t know why I’m thinking that in spite of the fact that one time I had a huge crush on Shahid Afridi who is a Pakistani player., when I know the majority of people on the other side is same like ours and need peace . Even they dislike terror and many of them are there to fight against terror and not for terror!!!
On 27th Nov, when I came to office the first person from client side to ask me Are you fine was a Pakistani(working abroad)!!!!
Many of those short stories in TOI narrating about experiences in Pakistan portraits a completely different picture of the country and its citizens.
It is just the handful of people fighting and my reaction is applied to whole community.

Am I being irrational? Or my reaction is justified!!!

ANGER!!

Anger is appropriately blamed for flawed thinking since it tends to alter perception of risk, increase prejudice, and trigger aggression. But is anger always destructive. Well, I think…Anger can actually prompt more careful and rational analysis of another person's reasoning. And sometimes you need to be ANGRY !!!

Aggression is any form… Aggressive cricket by Oz’s…Aggression showed by mob… aggression showed by students, be it in any form actually leads to some GOOD!!!! Then would even terrorist are aggressive? Not really… usually you get angry when things are out of your control and the person/group responsible does not hold his responsibility!!! So for terrorist it’s not at all aggression but HATRED!!!

And this time again AGGRESSION is speaking… international pressure on Pakistan (but still they are not willing to cooperate), changes in cabinet… changes in MUMBAI(the long lasting Deshmukh is GONE)!!!!

May be this time aggression changes the face of terror!!!
Amen!!!!

Secure Place...

Wasn’t very active on blogger Ville ….
The last time I came on Blogger world it was “Barack Obama and his stories”…
Came back again and now it was “Mumbai mayhem… massacre… terrorist… weeping…

  1. We reacted to it… we all felt bad… but still there is no solution to it?
  2. We lost crores of rupees just because of one day closing? How to make up for the loss? A charity cricket match? A marathon?
  3. Politician are still fighting and playing a blame game? A solution to it?
  4. In the all party meet, Advani and rajnath singh were not present? Reason Were busy with campaigning? Do we want leaders like this?
  5. Today TOI reported, the majority killed at CST are Muslims, and I thought these are jihadis fighting for there community (Muslim) freedom…!!!
  6. Awareness for common man about the bombs is just that “laawaris padi vaastu ko haath na lagaye ussmein bomb ho sakta hain”
  7. Terrorist and underworld knows more about our country(loopholes) then ourselves
  8. With a population of billions, still finance ministry is to be handled by PM. We don’t have even a single eligible suitable candidate in the cabinet!!!
And moreover… I’m writing this and got news that there has been "firing in Hyderabad” and “a bomb found in Mumbai”…
Need to leave office and find a secure place?

Where it is? Graveyards!!!!
