Its been a while that I posted something…

The reason…. Or the excuse … would it be enough to say that I was busy? Or if I be honest… my laziness overpowered my good conscious of being a writer and kept on repeating

“You are so busy” You are so busy….

But finally today I defeated my laziness!!!

Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…..

Few days back I realized…

that if somebody scolds you/hits you/hurts you , you react in a similar fashion. But if somebody shows a concern/care/love to you … you mostly ignore it or if you know that person than you take it for granted and if he is a stranger you think he is about to con you.

After marriage

I have gained 7 kgs weight. Tooo much!! Didn’t knew… life settlement can be more like heavy weight body!! ;)

I also feel I have started behaving like those married woman… who with female collegues every eveining discuss some or the other new recipe . I have also started watching Parvarish aired on Sony and it’s like ….
Mera serial nikal jayega!!

Every morning when I wake up… its like

aaj brkfast and khane mein kya banau?
Earlier I used to think… which dress I would wear today? ;) See the change ;)

Now, even when I save just 5 bucks I feel so happy!! Its like… chalo gaddi mein hawa bharwane ke liye bach gaya ;)

But I also enjoy when I meet up somebody and they say… oh you doesn’t at all look like you are married! (Yes mine is a child marriage );)

Whatever its fun… with piyaji and married life :))

Human Psychology

Human Psychology is just so simple

If you have a problem and even your neighbor is either having the same or a bigger problem then, for you, your problem is redundant!!
But if he is not having any problem then your problem get onto your nerves!!

Just few days back, when my lappy was showing some "tunnel adapter connections" and I was thinking to figure it out , before I could react my hubby types in those words into google and there it was pages with problem and solutions and those frown lines faded!!

I was so chill-axed that no I m not the only one who has this issue ... there are 'n' number of people!!

Like how much satisfaction we can get if the other person is also in same trouble! The feeling of "Not being Alone" or "feeling of kaminapanti"

This reminds me of a dialogue of 3 Idiots

The Fight For Survival!

I don’t know what made these guys (Murugan alias Sriharan, Santhan and Perarivalan alias Arivu) to join the LTTE and then plan for Rajiv Gandhi assassinations. But I’m sure it would have been there fight for survival.

What I heard/read from the articles is usually how the youngsters are taken up and trained promising them of the bright future and if that doesn’t work make them believe that there life has a purpose ,getting FREEDOM !!!From what ? Still to figure out!

After 11 years when the mercy plea got rejected, the new tantrum evolves! How to survive? Again the permutation was done and Mr Ram Jethmalani came up with the new plea !!

Flash Back – eleven years , one of these three guys in jail – four walls – waiting each day to get the answer. The struggle , would they live or not? Each day in trauma and don’t know till when. But maybe they knew it would happen. They knew, they gonna die (well everybody knows that) but like this?
Death at one go or days of suffering and then comes the relief!

Life Imprisonment or Death, my opinion doesn’t matters here, but all I could see is the fight for survival.

Since the day HE has seen this Micromax A70, he is like I want to buy one!Well, even I loved it. The ad is just so tempting.And it makes you feel like its "hum jaise gareebon ka messiah"

Just like another day and his convincing strategies he started ... It would be so nice na you already have A60 and I would have A70! Would be cool na?

Mummy Chotti.. kar do!

I remember how used to shout these words when I used to get ready for school and the only thing pending was “Chotti”(pleat/plait) .

I’m sure almost all girls might have gone through this ofcourse if they have a boycut or blunt they could be spared. But otherwise that was one of the routine activities for all mothers and their teenage daughters.

Once she is ready to tie up my hair and she is almost done, then I I used to start cribbing , first about the hair partition that it’s not at all straight and then about the two pleats/plait , I always wanted them to fall in line on my head. One shouldn’t be up and other a bit down. Two should be inline. I had a habit of placing my hand horizontally between the two chottis and verifying if they are in line or not.

So the usual complains were

Aapne maang teddi nikal di hain…

Ya fir

Nahi yeh wali upar hain…. Isko theek karo!

And my sweet mom always used to untie them and then doing it all over again. Now I know how much patience you need for those silly things.

How much I miss that!

Internet Explorer users "have a lower IQ"

Could you beat this guys?

If you have a low IQ then there are high chances that you use Internet Explorer

Well, In my earlier companies we were never allowed to download/install any other browser than IE which comes as default with Office PC I feel. So was it that my IQ level was less?

Well, its more of personal choice is what I feel?

Personally Gmail and office login I do on chrome, blogger I open on Firefox (as they have an option of inserting smiley’s) and government sites like irctc and eseva I open on explorer! So Where Is stand?

I personally feel these type of surveys don’t serve any purpose! Well, what they can do?

How many of us would switch from IE to Chrome/Firefox to increase their IQ level?

This is called total “vellapanti” doing nothing and creating news!

Rain Rain!!

I hate it when it rains when I have to come to office. I mean exactly the same time when I’m ready to hit the road and rains starts!

Doh!

So much “extra” clothing is needed, well I drive a two-wheeler and so you might be aware of what I mean by extra clothing!!

--First, make sure to keep an extra pair, just in case you get drenched you can change
--No stylish footwear, just those plain floaters
--Once you are ready, wear another jacket so that even if raincoat is not able to prevent you your actual costumes don’t get wet! And also if they are transparent, it also prevents the embarrassement
--A big bag, with tiffin, shawl, towel, extra pair of clothing and mobile on your back
-- then comes the raincoat
--a scarf/stole on your face, to avoid those spalishing of water from bikes
-- a helmet on top of that

After so much effort, if suddenly it strikes you that you have to give a call to somebody, or want to get money for petrol. Ahhh…. First remove the raincoat then, take out your bag, remove your stole/scarf pull out your mobile and then call and again dress up!

At times I feel I’m going on a spaceship.

Well, even I heard similar narration from some other male colleagues who come in shorts and vest over that a raincoat, and as soon as they enter rush to washroom to get dressed up. Well, that’s a kewl idea.

And also, some bike riders wear polythene packs on their feet so as to protect their leather shoes and socks from getting muddy and drenched!

Rainy Day during weekdays…. Its really horrible!

In this cruel world, where getting something in return of money is not guaranteed, how can one expect of the service.

But well, Flipkart did impressed me, you remember I posted a review of a Book “Few Things Left Unsaid” where I did mentioned that there are some pages jumbled up.

The very same day I posted a complain to there site and what a quick and positive response saying that

" they would arrange for a replacement and apologies for the inconvenience".

After about 4 days when I didn’t received any confirmation of when the book would be replaced or the whereabouts, I got another mail saying that

Apologies for the delay, and somehow it is taking a bit longer to arrange for a book. They would inform me as soon as they get a good quality book.

And before the completion of eight days, they delivered me the same book at my doorstep.

I was discussing this with my hubby , and comparing the same scenario to any bookstore like crossword,Walden,Odysessy . First thing again I have to go back to the shop to get it replaced and second once it is available I have to go again to collect it.

Another thing, just a mail and they agreed for a replacement what if I was just interested in getting another copy of it? They simply replaced it without taking back my original Copy. Had it been a bookstore as a proof you need to take your original one, show them the proof and ask for replacement.

Well, really a BIG THANKS and just that you guys a doing a great job!

Lazy Me!

I can cook, I can dance, I can blog (Well, I think so),I can code, I can test, I can stitch, I can do embroidery, I can paint, I can be a beautician, I can be a hair styler, I can be a philosper, I can be a player,I can be a …

And the list continues…

But in all this I’m NOT A PERFECTIONIST!

Well, yes, Just watching yesterday Just Dance, I realized that although I can do so many things but there is nothing in which I ‘m PERFECT. Any dance form , any instrument, any sports, any style just anything of which I should be THE PROUD OWNER. It belongs to me! And I’m the maetro of it .

I don’t know, but is it because of my lack of passion or laziness or is it because of the way situation moulded me. In school I was advised to be a good scorer and also somebody who can cook, stitch, knit and do all household work. In this my passion of dance was still was nurtured but was a second priority

Once , I came to college, people made me belive that I’m a good dancer! And then I used to think about dance and yes mills and boons and other romantic novels.

As I joined my job , I learnt salsa, and tried growing more in dance but then I was stuck up with performance, appraisal, and onsite.

After few more years, I tried my growth in spiritual learning and started learning Reiki and Tarot . Became passionate about these and started working. But again, I was caught up with the laziness and settlement in life.
That was my story!

And I’m sure there would be many like me as I have heard from many of my friends, some want to work for NGO’s , some want be a painter, an artist, some want to learn Braille , and some want to open there own company, writing their own book and so on….

But don’t know where the DREAMS or thoughts get dumped?

Why is it always caught up with the LAZINESS ?

Reality Bytes Bites : Not So Innocent Love Story - Book Review

A book by Anurag Anand. A complete fiction and school romance.

First thing the title, after completing the book I really couldn't relate the title with the book content. When it says "Not So Innocent Love Story" you feel there should be something different but well, that's not the case.

The story starts with a normal student life and his first day in one of the "good colleges" . The anxiety and excitement for any new student is narrated quite well. And after a bit of narration the story goes into flashback ...... School DAYS!!!!

And then the usual drama starts. School Hostel, Mess, seniors, and more over the Co-Ed thing! That's been a punch in the book.

Anybody who has lived in a hostel would surely be able to relate himself with that. The story is not uncommon but has a grip! You shouldn't be bored of the book ever.

Although you can easily make out at the very start who would be the hero's love at the end. The twist and turns are somewhat missing (well, I agree its not a suspense novel) but still the author has tried to put in efforts to give it a twist which is not very much appreciated.

Overall a time-pass novel. Could be finished in a day !

Khatron ke Khiladi : I like it because of the stunts. They are different and people enjoy it.Its fun to watch how normal people react.

And so my remote in in MY HAND and after every 15 mins I need to press the SWAP button .

Few things Left Unsaid – Book Review

This was the first book I purchased from flipkart. Well, I was impressed. On time delivery and delivery at your door step. What else you need and all that at some discount.

I read about the author Sudeep Nagarkar born in 1988, well to publish your own book at the age of 23 is a commendable job. Hats off to you. But book is bit disappointing.

First thing the publisher- srishti publications, they have jumbled up the pages . If you buy a book make sure to notice the page numbers from 72 to 89, they are not in sequence. That was really a bad impression for a person whose first book is getting published.

Now about the book, its an Indian Mills and Boon’s each page narrates the daily activities of the engineering days, each day of first year is described in detail. Its more like eating, talking, sleeping narration. Sometimes he has also described what they ordered in McD’s and Pizza hut !

The language is very normal as we use, plain English. Something coming up as a book well personally I don’t appreciate it.

Another thing, I really want to count how many times they have used ‘love you” miss you in that book. In fact that can be a contest for this book, one who guesses the exact count would get a free book signed by the author.Just Kidding ;)

Then the story line may be a college goer would be all in dreams with this novel as a perfect romancing couple is described out there. A girl and a boy meet and then they fight, break up with each other and then they meet or not(Well you have to find out that). But there is nothing extra , that intensity and zeal are missing. I feel even if you skip 2-3 chapters, you won’t feel that you have missed the storyline. The gravity to bind us to a book is neglected.

And then the end, he tried putting some coincidences’ (well as is said by the author, it’s a true love story) which I don’t feel to be the perfect ending. It could have been better.

Well, I didn’t enjoy it at all. You could improve Mr Sudeep Nagarkar.

Breaking News- Benefits!

Well, nothing much is happening after that Ramdev –UPA drama and now that I’m just so irritated by his face that its better I don’t talk about it.

But then our lunch session get boring. Well, we need to have some “breaking news” to criticize, discuss, argue, and blame others then only food gets digested otherwise it remains undigested and then we (read it as IT people) need to walk after lunch which is against our work culture.

Our work culture is well defined .You are just made to “Sit & Stare” .

Okay leave IT people, they are “good for nothing” …. I was talking about my lunch sessions so as there was no topic to discuss we were eating… in fact swallowing, when we have some breaking news we can do “jugali” what cow and buffaloes do, so food gets digested easily and then we can work towards our aim… i.e. Sit & Stare.

Another reason is when you have breaking news you put in all your frustration/anger in criticizing or finding flaws in it . ( Well we IT people can hardly appreciate anything ) and so you vent out all your negative feeling which gives you more positive enrgy and then that’s the reason just after lunch you feel sleepy. So relaxed you are. You just need a bed. Isn’t?

The Kept Woman and Other Stories - Book Review

Whenever I see such books with short stories , I'm totally hypnotized and there my hands start itching. So thats the only reason I bought it.

Now as my daily routine goes, I read them before sleeping. So each day I used to start with it and then after a dose of "real life drama" , and a tear drop in my eyes I used to keep this book aside and so it took a whole two weeks for me to complete it.

So, you guys might have gota review of how the book is?Each and every story starts with a simple background, routine life scene but ends with pain. Each story is woven in so plain but impactful words that it forces you to think and react. Some of the words are just so beautiful . Sample these

A woman in love is never satisfied if her lover remembers her with only one part of his body. She wishes to grow like a cancer within him , to fill him with awareness and pain. That is special cruelty of love

And one thing that millionaires earn along with their wealth is enmity.Therefore, with the passage of time, they come to fear their own shadows. Each of them belives that his greatest enemy is the dark shadow that comes creeping up from behind. To escape from the clutuches of these shadows they present the beggars on the beach with coins ,donate money to charitable institutions,build holy temples and renovate dilapidated ones.

The author has combined in her writings rare honesty and sensitivity.Its about man-woman relationship and covers all dimensions. But each story reflects "the loss" when a relationship dies or when there is betrayal be by death or self!

A bit of saddist, not recommended for leisure reading. But you should really read if you want to get a taste of real life tragedy!

Although at night , I used to dream of those stories happening to me but still once you start reading you don't feel like there is nothing which can't happen to you. You get engrossed so much in the story that you feel you are a part of story may be as a witness...

Diamond Or Cyanide!

I was gifted by a diamond ring during my wedding and somehow I don’t know (how? I m figuring it out) I had build a habit of biting it when I thinking something.

And one day when my colleague saw that same act he said (yeah he was not that serious)..

Arrey diamond nahi chatna chaiye.

Mar jaate hain !

I was like what?

And then he started justifying … pehle filmo mein nahi dikhate the…

and then I recalled it was true… all smugglers/murderers used to have a locket hanging in there neck and as soon as police used to catch them they used to eat that and die.And there was that white foam used to come out of there mouth.But then I thought, no it was cyanide!

But I’m also getting that feeling that it was not cyanide but diamond

But nothing happened to me as of now!

Well, does anybody remember if it was diamond/cyanide?

You Learn a Lesson Everyday!

Why is it that we like some people so much? We get attracted to them ,not necessarily in what the law of attraction conveys i.e. love,sexual,marriage ! But just in general... the fondness we have for some people.

It can't be explained but just today I was remembering many such people who influenced me in some or the other way and I liked them no matter what others said about them. Those are the people in your life who apart from your family help you to grow.I never was able to justify that liking but it happened.

My Primary class friend , I don't know where is he but I always know I'll meet him.
My Class 2 class teacher, she was an inspiration for me and how much she used to boost me for my dance , I would never forget that ... mein teri dushmann dushmann tu mera dance ...
My hindi teacher, even she left school before I did, but it was fun with her. How simply she used to put things ... be it about hindi lessons or about life!
One of my senior, she got her rib fractured and docter said its impossible for her to ever sit by herself and today she is an IPS officer.
One of my client in London, I dont know but the glow and smile he had on his face ! Never got that shiny face ever. HE used to reflect what he was, so truthful and responsible and so logical...so intelligent. When we used to talk to him ... it used to make us relaxed... I dont know but he had that those positive vibes!

There are some nameless individuals as well, whom we meet in our daily life ... can't mention all those but everyday there is some "new lesson" to learn from somebody.
Somebody is waiting there to teach you... for a lifetime!

Every cream/facewash/facepack/shampoo/conditioner I have seen they have one thing common

For better results follow by “same company” cleanser, toning milk, moisturizer, facepack.

I really don’t know, if it really makes sense , but I feel its more of marketing gimmick.

How does the skin knows if its jovees/Loreal/Fair & Lovely/Garnier/Lotus? Irrespective of the company it has to do its work isn’t?

Being into IT industry and surrounded by codes, I really wonder if they have programmed there products that way. Just for instance if you have taken jovees face pack , the instructions would say

For better results first cleanse your face with jovees cleanser and then apply the facepack.

So the logic would work like this

If cleanser = jovees

Facepack result = AWESOME!

Else

“Keep on wasting money I wont work!”

Its been more than four months but we are still struggling in this "new city". And the struggle is still not over I guess... setting up your own home "the attachment" is something which can't be described.

One carves his dreams , and turn them into realization. The actual thing.... the feel good factor!

From the silliest thing may be newspaper to a big investment of buying a house we quarrel... argue, fight but then ....... one decision! How that happens ... we don't know.... ! Just that It Happens....

Just read a humorous article on economic times on offer document. Somebody who is interested in finance should definitely read it . I loved it :)

Other day one of my colleague asked who is your favorite actor? And I was blank... well not really ! I still think having fav actor and actress is still what teenagers and college goers should do ... and I left all that long time back. Honestly , my one time favorite SRK is now a faded memory, after I watched him in K3G. Too much of melodrama and I wanted SRK to say no to that bulls***. But he was actually acting in that. I didn't liked it. And then favoritism was lost!

Not much planning for this weekend... its so damn HOT and me a hot hippo.... need a pond where I can float all day!Ahhhh... that makes feel woooooowwwwwwwwww......

Man, yes I was in washroom , can’t you make out? Just think logically …

Office is so much open space , and when the voice echoes that’s means you are surrounded by four walls and what all places in office could be that?

Cabin/Conference Room : The option is ruled out because there motive is to “converse”
Lifts : In most of the lifts in India mobile network doesn’t work so it is ruled out

Whats left?

Washroom : That’s the place man!

And other misconception is when you(preferably male) are at coffee vending machine and the listener reacts to the sound as you are in washroom busy relaxing your bladder

Nostalgic I feel!

Eveyday while cooking dinner, I play vivid bharti/FM Rainbow on my Dish DTH service (I tell you it’s the worst) and the magic of listening to those songs is something which can’t be described in words. There is always a binding force as what would be the next song played. As I listen to that I usually remember our good old days of Chitrahaar.

I remember , we used to count how many songs have been played in that particular episode. And the long wait for the “new song” which usually used to be the last song of the episode!

Compare it with todays infinite music channel playing those new songs 24 hrs…
And add to the misery (or may be a BOON) now there is piracy, download those songs and take them along with you wherever you go..
That one hour “Disney hour” showing Tale Spin and Duck tales and today’s n number of cartoon channel all usually showcasing super man/spiderman with some new name
It was fun to goto zoo/picnic and now people wait for weekends to visit some shopping malls or Food court
Writing a letter and waiting for the reply atlest 15 days and now write an email and if you don’t get a reply back within 5 minutes we get impatient
Food was cooked fresh and packed in stainless steel ka dabba and now we have ready to eat microwavable food packed a month back
Those were the days of ink pen, using a ball pen was indeed a luxury in those days , and now I wonder if people know how to refill your ink pen
Earlier how people used to die to steal those “cozy moments” and now people crib for “own space”

My Holiday

After loooooooong time, yesterday I bunked my "Office" . Ahhhh... Yeah, It was at the cost of my "sick leave" but who cares. Sometime you need to listen to your heart! And there I was , on my bed chillax .

After my first round of tea and TOI . I opened up my blog, and updated this new look. With the header having some of my favourites and beliefs

There was more to the list but could accommodate this much . May be wait for the second renovation or second bunk from office for Part 2.

And then at around 12:30 , I had my breakfast "muesli". Suddenly, I'm in love with this cereal, its not like the normal cornflakes, it has so many cereals and also dry fruits when you mix it up with milk and honey. It just tastes awesome.

Then I thought of bugging my husband on skype and so I typed in these four lines

humko tumse pyaar hain

jiya bekraar hain

aaja mere "tote"

tera intezaar hain.....

tooo much of creativity he coudnt digest as he was working so I just signed off before he could say some kind words in reply

And then, since loooooong I wanted to have maggi, today was the day to fulfill my that wish too and so I with a bowl of maggi I had my lunch.

In evening when he came, he brought an choclate pastry ..... ummmmmmmm.... No that isnt that sweet of hm. I asked him to bring it for me when he returns and so he was just following the order Yeah following order is definitely sweet of him

And then the honeymoon period got over!!

Cook Dinner... eat it go for a walk and then sleep!!

After my marriage, the only thing I was worried about was ‘Sari”, I know how to wear it but still its an art by itself and until and unless you don’t practice you won’t have those “perfect pleats” so that you don’t look pregnant and then what if your “petticoat” is visible or your toes! Ahhh….

By any means….Its an art! And just wrappin up doesn’t makes it look graceful or sexy.

Although many women in India are in habit of wearing saree’s in there day to day life but I have seen very few who actually drape it nicely. And then look at them, you would find them the most admirable woman for that moment.

Recently , a Mumbai couple has launched an app for Apple on “How to drape a sari” that too in two versions :

And also an audio visual mode.

No matter what, and how many tutorial you have, it’s the PRATICE which MAKES SARI LOOKS PERFECT.

And there is new addition in wishlist - NoteSlate.

Ooooooooo…. So sleek and so sexy!!

Yup, it has some disadvantages but the most important part is it just for 99$, yeah I agree that’s the base model but don’t you think it’s a revolution!

Just Plabyack few years and we used to have a black slate white chalk piece (which most of the time I used to eat) and now this colourful slate(which I can't chew)!

Mode Change!

Too much of marriage stuff on my blog. Yeah , I know it happens once in a lifetime (well not really!)

So let me get back to my normal Chakoli mode …..

First a Tarzan scream…. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa …. Okies if it was not exactly the same just to remind you it’s a LADY TARZAN!

Since last week I’m struggling to get a new template for my blog and and after long hours of copying and compiling those “readymade” templates I have decided I’ll design one… yup you need to have patience learning and implementing would take time.

My new job is bit boring, well which job is interesting? Well then again the point is… is it that job is boring or is it that people are boring which makes your work more boring. Let me think….

Yups, it’s the people… just barely 60 people in the company and that too busy with there own stuff! No other social activities… as we used to have it in our “big” organizations! Every month there would be some celebration may be green day, national day, sports day, cultural day… women’s day, dabba party day and many more…..

The other thing which I miss in this organization is “tapri ki chai” … sudak sudak…!! Ahhh… Not a single “tapri” outside our company …. What a waste!!

Anyways… Things would CHANGE!!

And I’m again in love with Dilbert…. Nobody could be better. Sample this :

Changes For GOOD!

Now that I had settled “a bit” in this city of Nizam’s. I could get back to my blogging. Hopefully!!! ;)

Just after a month of my marriage “my hubby” said to me … make sure you call all your friends atleast once ,or else they would be bit hesitant (especially males) to call you as now you are married. To which I agreed and as and when I used to get time I used to call my friends and everybody had a the same question – So how is the life after marriage? Any changes?

Pondering again and again – Are there any changes? Well, nothing has changed ! Same lifestyle, same me and same him. But yes, some changes did happen! Like now, I get sacred,earlier I wasn’t. Now when I walk on road I always bear in mind that there is somebody wiating for you. Somebody needs you . And when I said this to him, he said – yes that even happens to him.

A thought that somebody is counting on you, somebody lives for you ofcourse makes you special but also it comes with a responsibilty

May be that’s what marriages are all about

Three Months Over!!

So many changes into Life! And then back to Routine!! :)
I remember one thing my B said ... when I didn't' wanted to get married and start that settlement thing - "The routine and settlement are the facts of life and one can never avoid it and you need to face the fact" . To which I answered nopes, I won't be following the same routine but time changed me and even I followed the trend and now I realize the fact.

Suddenly time just vanishes, as a bachelor you never ever had so many things to do but now just this and that. Time just evaporates when you are together otherwise it is killing when you are alone.

I don't know about others but I feel more complete now.

Yups, marriages are just so beautiful :))

I 'm back in the city from where it all started. my JOB.... my LOVE.... my PASSION.... The city has something for me sure, how much I avoid it, it keeps on calling me back.

I started my career in HYDERABAD, but soon after joining I was deported to Coimbatore......after training I had an option to get back to Hyderabad but I selected Delhi . But five years later, when again I started searching for a new job and guess what, it called me back again and again just for joining ( when I wrote this), and then after exactly an year I m back.... this time to work and start my married life.

I remember my deal with "kucchu" in Birla Mandir in those early days of 2004 to get a job and "Kuuchu Sa Dulha".

And he granted my wishes!!

Some places have really something very special for you. And one special day you experience them. And then, you just SMILE... a satisfactory smile :)

Thoughts In Motion...

Just that my hand was itching I'm scribbling something on my journey to hyderabad(where my piyaji resides).

A month long vacation just vanished while hopping from one city to another and in midst of all that there were some memorable moments to be cherished forever.

Marriage is just a beautiful feeling and I really want to stay in that "hangover". How I survived without it, I'm surprised. Those long post where I used to discuss "The reason" to tie a knot and wasn't able to find even one. Those million doubts ... how the life would change after marriage... Some apprehensions.... new house.... new people....and so many so many...... talks !!!

And finally I survived all of that of course with a "BIG SMILE" and more happiness :)))

Our marriage is an adventure bright and new;
The pleasures and delights have just begun.
May we always keep that magical attraction.
Let our bond and our commitment grow with time,
So that all our days are filled with satisfaction.

She's A Jolly Good Fellow - Book Review

Why I chose this one - The blame goes to its cover and the print, that military print even in the sides of the book pages. Although I'm firm beliver of "Never judge a book by its cover" still I did fall for it :)

And to be honest I wasn't disappointed .

The story revolves around the two women Deepa Shekhar and Anjali Sharma who are into a domain which had been entirely male-exclusive since the conception of Indian army. Sometimes the urge to make a mark leads one to accept the challenges even in the completely unknown territories and thats what Second Lieutenants Dips ( Deepa Shekhar) does!!

Its not the usual story of how disciplined, mannered army life is, but how a girl conquers and finds her place in male dominating territory. The pace of the book never slacks off, and the story actually moves forward every few pages unlike some other books that dwell on the beauty of a place/person for many pages.

As the story progresses we see the personalities of Deepa and Anjali taking different paths. They prioritize things and events in their lives differently and many times find themselves facing a big issue of - when and for whom to hang their uniforms. Inspite of the situation being entirely different, the author touches the common predicament in many women's lives.

A very light-reading, fun filled and engaging book, which brings a sneek-peek into the 'once all-male department' from a lady officers eyes. I feel she could have added the struggle to get into the military, how indian family reacted, how they were treated by there counterparts during training period also as a small chapter in the beginning as I am sure there must have been many interesting anecdotes during that period too. Overall a wonderful book to read once, not a classic though.

Some observations which I made in beauty parlour

The only one thing god gave me in abundance is "manufacturing defects" and thats the reason I need spend a lot on my maintenance ;)
Manicure and pedicure are "contagious" , I went for threading but as soon as I saw a girl taking pedicure I wanted to opt for it and another girl when she saw me, started with "How much is for manicure?"
One thing for which girls goto beauty parlour is because they are treated like "princess" so what if it comes with a COST!!

Proposals always make you feel special :)

Well, its not about "The proposal" I received but about movie "Proposal" starring Sandra Bullock.

Every proposal be it personal/professional is a decision maker in one' life. At times when you sit back in your balcony with a cup of ginger tea and staring and feeling the rains , with a long pause and you murmurr...

"क्या होता अगर हमने ऐसा निर्णय लिया होता " What would have been the case if we had opted that.

Well, life is nothing but endless possibilities and lucky one is who explores the maximum!!

Coming back to my point "Proposal" I just fell in love with it... don't know if its because I'm getting married or its because I'm feeling like a princess or its because I'm marrying somebody I love :))

No wonder love is always so beautiful :))))

Oh Shit Not Again- Book Review

A book by Mandar Kokate!!

I don't know if I'm getting old or that my taste is getting bad!

First question- why did I picked this up? Well the book title "Oh Shit Not Again" makes you feel that there is something different about this book and also when you read the back cover it narrates few of those interesting incident which could spice up one's life.

But alas... thats not the case!!

Book fails to spice up my life atleast!

The book starts with Beware before you read...........you may die laughing".

and I say " Beware of the book - OhShit Not Again" you may stop reading books completely!!

Its a story of five friends and their trials and tribulations across a period of few months. The central character is Raj who moves into the locality of the novel's setting, meets with the other characters in the book and talks about it in a first person perspective.There are teenage infatuation, confession of love, hyperactive male libido and the dependence on playboy and Pamela Anderson. There are ample incidents that points towards authors belief in voyeuristic pleasure that every growing up male enjoys while catching others having sex or just deep diving at the hint of cleavage. But are they intrinsic to the plot or need of the story, I will leave you to decide that.

The book is a complete disappointment . I have completed this book in just one day not because I enjoyed or it gripped me but just didnt wanted to invest more time on that book.

My Janamasthmi Celebration..

At 9 when I was back from office, everybody was excited all were busy in preparation of Janamasthmi.

We wanted to dress my nephew as real "kishan kanhiya" but he refused to wear a धोती !

We decorated a "झांकी" for my kuuchu.

With पंजीरी and पंचामृत as "प्रसाद" we sang in loud voices...

Happy Janamasthmi

Its "Kuchhu" birthday tomorrow. I mean its janamasthmi.

Govinda alaa re... aalaa.. jara matki sambhal brijbala....

I don't know the reason but since childhood I'm great fan of Krishna. I remember when I was a kid , there was a "ladoo gopal" statue in our "mandir", and I used to take special care of it. His bathing, decoration and food as if he was a real friend of mine.

Before sleeping, I used to talk to him telling my all day tales and then also complaining and asking for some miracles/wishes.
Not the very next day, but my wishes were granted may be with a delay. I rememeber once I asked for a "big cabury's(For me atleast cadbury's was a big luxury at that time)" and I got three on my birthday.

Somehow, with innocence I also lost my such a good habit, not daily but yes occasionally I still talk to him. Thank him for everything, and he still listens to me.

Life and its Flavors

Since last half an hour I'm struggling what to write?

I had something in my mind when I was in office but then it vanished.

Now thoughts are flowing... in fact so many thoughts but no connectivity... no flow... its like SPAM!!

After about months I logged into indiblogger, and I was surprised to see so many followers! In this virtual world one thing is perfect, people know you in spite of you being not around. Your presence is not a mandate. Just some words or photos would do.

Why people like you? Why something interest you? Why you get irritated by a bunch of people?Why some people are so dumb? Why some people don't apply common sense?Why people think themselves superior of others? Why people love you? Why you need someone? Why and so many why?

There could be some illogical ( some research and studies) which could answer to these questions...but they somehow don't convince me!And I have no answers to these why...

I'm just happy to live this life with these whys... cribbing and loving people

In fact just imagine how dull and boring life would be if you accept that people are like this... no cribbing.... no teasing... no loving...no spice... no masala... no tadka...

Life and its flavors... and I feel I'm just a kid!!

Its about Me!

Just yesterday my parents reached Pune, and today morning , with morning tea we were watching "colors" channel.
No complains...but suddenly things and routine change!! Just to keep them happy! And I love it!!

Since, last three days, my mind was cribbing, it needed a new hairstyle and finally on saturday I got one! Yup now I look similar to sai baba!!Do you need a pic ( of sai baba?) ;)

Its raining like hell in Pune, god spare us atleast for a week, my parents are here and we can't go anywhere. Bad is that :(.

Planning to buy a new camera, may be then I can post some pics, the photographer inside me is cursing me a lot. I know I always see things with a different angle and it could be beautifully captured in a photograph!!

Well, whatever angle it is, life is just so beautiful capturing every angle would always be a good experience!!

Why did I do that?

How many times have you kicked yourself with the words, "Why did I do that?" Most of us have asked such a question far more often than we would like to admit.

Imagine sitting in the middle of a road and there is an oncoming car heading rapidly towards you. You have a choice of only two actions. To get out of its way and live to fight another day, or to sit where you are and be run over, which means either being badly injured, or, much worse, being killed. In that split second, you have to make a decision. If you are trying to commit suicide, your decision will be to keep sitting and hope to be killed. However, if you did not expect a car to be in your path, you will be getting out of its way pretty fast to save your life.

That was a simple illustration of why we have to make decisions: to dictate the way we wish to live by making either pleasant or unpleasant choices. Our life consists of making decisions, one way or another, they are imperative. But I think, many people deliberately prevent themselves making decisions because they cannot bear the consequences.Isn't?

Standing in between the crowd in London tubes you get lost in shades of black and grey!! Eyes buried deep into the newspaper, and ears choked with the headphones which symbolizes more of " I'm blind and deaf"

Few days back, one of my colleague narrated an incident where a girl in crowded train changed her clothes in and out and got off at one of the station and people surrounding her didnt even gave a STARE!! Well,it wasnt the exact striptease !! but may be some glimpse of skin show!!

I know they talk, they listen, they stare as well but just that they DONT REACT!!

But in this "Mind Your Own Business" world I do meet some friends who share smiles and very often "have a nice weekend/take care/bbye" greeting!!

After two years I'm back in UK... welcome back dear :))

Warning : If you have bought some dress from “Westside” and you are going shopping and might visit Westside, you don’t even think of wearing it. You could see that same colour, same design same size apparel hanging in or one of the mannequins wearing it.

You know how it feels when you are in front of a mirror image , a girl wearing same dress as yours. Its like she using your husband!! Yes the feeling the same. Am I m exaggerating? Could be…. But same dress… same colour…same design… nahiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

When I choose a dress, I try that it would be worn just by me. No one else have this replica. A unique dress for just so unique girl. Well, I suppose most of the girls would think that!! Or they don’t?

Well, I usually haven’t found any girl wearing same type of design as mine, but few days back when I was at Westside I saw the same dress hanging there which I bought three years back in Gurgaon. How could they come back with same design, I wonder!!

Whatever, I still think no female would like to see her mirror image in front of her. Be it just clothes image!!!

Am I wrong?

One of my friend recently complained that you are not updating your blog on regular basis. To which I answered I have so many things to write but still I don’t know but I don’t feel like writing!!

Well, any form of expression of thoughts is beautiful but somehow I wasn’t feeling to express things!! Wanted to be in my own shell. Strolling with my thoughts, knitting emotions with them and feeling them!! Just for yourself!!

Life is good if you change yourself is what I have realized!!

Nowadays apart from my home land line number, I don't remember any other telephone nos. thanks to my mobile database.
yesterday, when I received one call, the person on the other side asked for my father, as he was out, I asked him to call his mobile. Now I didn't had my mobile handy with me so asked my mother - what's papa's mobile number, she said its written in the telephone directory. I asked her with what name, and she said.... under 'P' page with name papa....
I burst out laughing, but they are habitual to it, isn't.

My Trip and Job

Ahhhh.... long awaited post this is....

I should have posted this last week, but thanks to my laziness, well not actually laziness, but I was tied up.... with what.... some negotiations!!!

Well, last weekend was fun... we went to Divyagrah and Murud Janjeera... playing drum-charades, cards, anatakchari, beach cricket, guys had a gala time with beer and loosing money!!

Finally, I'm staying with current company!! Ahhh... that was the thing which kept me busy!!I told you options are the worst part of life. But again I was hit by it.Finally, I chose to stay with the same company!! Reason , I don't know.... its just that my heart said. Suddenly people around me have started trusting me a lot, so many expectations, client praising you, your managers praising you... suddenly you are the talk of the town, that's scares me even more !!!

I just wish, to do my work honestly and sincerely. This is one thing I have learnt from my life, if you do any thing honestly it will pay, even if you don't like it but you have to do it. Still try to do it with full dedications!! May be that's the reason I was called back :).

Now, in office there are rumors that she has been offered "lions share" !! And I could sense jealousy in many people's eye!! Ahhhhh... allah rehem kar!!

But, somethings don't change.... I did planned for my vacation and its still on track. I m at my hometown enjoying summer holidays :))

Had lost touch with IPL, or in that matter any kind of sports, the only recent update I have is of Shoaib Mallick and Sania Mirza wedding and controversy!! How irritating these news channels are!! Thankfully I m not in that profession( which at one point of time I considered as a high rated profession).

Some new things are crawling in my mind... to learn and to explore ... !!!

Life is just amazing yaar... why we get just one life I wonder :))))

More Fun Awaits....

Just three more days left!! And then two weeks loooong vacation and then new joining!!!

Many a times all things just fall in place as if they were planned that way!!! And then I feel great!!

This weekend we are planning for outing.. and I m bit excited as this would be my last outing with this team. So there was no plan to drop out, inspite of the fact that I may get bored..... lets see....!!

Met some very good people... I'll miss them. Although duration was just three months, saying goodbye is always sad :(. And I know I'll miss them.

Okie... that was something sad... coming back to some fun... IPL...what else could be more fun!!

'yaar kya ho raha hai yeh... dilli ke daredevils... harate hi jaa rahe hain'... Now I bet that they won't be in top 4 :P

What else guys... apart from this scorching heat!! Suddenly temp has risen like anything!!! Its terrible to step out in sun even for a minute...well... the reason is bad habit of AC and not thye heat ;). Do you agree?

Just woke up after looong sleep!!!

There were just too many things happening in life.... new office... new BOSS, new colleagues... new crushes... a bit of hectic life... and then there was my tarot and reiki to keep me busy .... and then there were my friends... and then there was my little nephew to keep me all time busy!!! So just in that "busyness" blog was kept aside.

Finally... I m back :)

I resigned again!! Whoooaaa... last year till this time I was struggling to save my job... and within three months I dropped in my papers twice . God is always fair!!!

Anyways.... so again in April... the story would repeat...new office... new BOSS, new colleagues... new crushes... ;)

A new activity which I did... accompanying my colleague for "sutta (smoking)"... now I had many colleagues who did smoked but , nobody ever asked me for company.... but when he did... I was like fine!! Of course I was sipping tea and he was smoking... so it wasn't a bad combo... but still... I m not sure he felt comfortable or not....!! Anyways.... I guess that was the first and last time... any boy asked a girl ( non smoker) to accompany him to "sutta tapri".

Suddenly ... I feel I wasted my "so many years" .... but then I feel optimistic that I still have "so many years".... hahaha....

Btw guys... I have started waking up at 6... and many a times at 5:30!!! So do give a pat on my back!!!I need it :)

IPL is starting today... so would have more "mirch-masala" to update!! I m counting on Delhi daredevils. What's your choice? And I really bet... this time it won't be deccan chargers winning IPL!!! So lets see....

Addiction which leads to FRUSTRATION!!!!!

I'm boiling at 100 degrees right now!!!

And the reason is so simple.... at exact 8:55 p.m, there was some problem and "cable gone".... grrrrrr.... now seriously I realised the pleasure of having Tata Sky/whatever the other one is ( I don't remember other names and really don't want to put pressure on my little knee to think and get an answer).

I called him at 8:57, him as in cable wallah... and he said wire cut gaya hain!! aadha ghanta lagega!!How could suddenly wire get cut!! I blasted on him.... (poor chap).... and also conveyed how important it was for me to watch that serial!!

On Saturday and Sunday I make a point to finish all dinner preparation and all by 8:30 and 8.00 respectively!! And so right now as I don't have anything to do... I can't keep my self busy and so I'm boiling more.

Actually , the reason for frustration is one more that they don't have a repeat telecast of this maahi ve and rishta.com!!!

After every 5 secs I switch on the TV. buhuhuhubooooo huu...

maaf kar de..... aur laa de mera cable wapas...!!!

I remember the same frustration that I actually threw remote on bed was in 1999, it was India-Pakistan match and we just had DD!!! And those people on national network were showing Parliament session instead of match. And I was boiling.......

Well... again I called him... and again they say half an hour.... its better I get myself engaged in some other work.

Options...

Option is just the worst thing in life.
Getting more than one job offers, getting more than one marriage proposal, option of spending or saving, option of walking or driving, option of working or sitting idle, option of writing or dictating, option of living or dying, option of planning arrange marriage or love, option of having one or two kids and the list could continue.......

Option makes life more miserable, ofcourse it lets you enhance your decisive power but if you have ahabit of repenting, its worst.
So when there is just one option , just pick it up and go.... when you have "n" number you think...think....analyse... take suggestions..... and once you analyse all pros and cons you decide. yes this is the BEST among the worst.... but still you are not very sure if it would lead to success. Thats the ideal path we take when analysisng.... yes.... this way it would go... and this way i would be more happy.
How many of you... on going in a bakery shop wants to taste each and every pastry kept out there?thats the simplest example I could give. Once you have it only then you know that it was good or bad and if bad, not your fault. You applied all your senses to pick the best which could soothe your taste buds.
Well, I think even I m going with the same phase.... Options Options... Options....

I suppose working with Derivatives... Option has stuck with me!!!

I just love FAT people... and yes I have enough reasons to love them...

They are just so jovial like me...

They are so active... just like me....

They don't feel bad even when someone calls them "moti/mote"...

They are the theme of any party/discussion....

Shopping is easy for them... if size XXL does not exist... they could simply move on without getting into "jhangat" of actually trying it... just like me :)

There face shines as soon as someone compliments them in one line... you are looking thin today.... or you have pulled down a lot....just like me...

Every morning they look into mirror... with a hope... some miracle might have happened and they might have lost couple of kgs overnight...just like me...

They just fear one machine... "weighing machine"... ;)...last time I weighed I was XX kg ... "X" is just the unknown quantity of algebra..;)

And still they dream of getting ... Prince Charming... hahahha just like me ;)

Just Like That....

I'm in love again, not with anyone... but with myself ;)

Again I'm getting those sweet romantic feelings of falling in love again and reason for that is ... YRF films... two soaps... Mahi ve and rishta.com.

I don't know, but I'm in love with those two soaps, rishta.com for arranging marriages and mahi ve... the cute fat girl in search of her dream boy!!

Anyways that was about me, weekend was just busy... did some shopping and also "safai"... Yes, our maid comes in daily and sweeps our floor daily but still when I sweeped in on saturday, it was like my room was not cleaned since ages.

Have some new plans... among one is to get up at 6... thats really hard!!

All other thing would fall in place if I start just following one thing of getting up at 6 am.

Life gives you so many chances... and we keep missing atleast one for sure !! But still... life moves on :)

My First Leave

Yes, today was my first leave in my new company.

I mean leave just after eleven days of joining , not bad at all. I'm just a champ in bunking office for unknown reasons and feeling not well with a thought of office :)

When early morning I decided not to go to office, I smsed my two managers one in pune and another in Chennai. Chennai one replied very sweetly ... oh take care get well soon with a smiley and all. And pune one just replied with two letters "OK". It seems his mobile phone had a plan of per letter charging and so he might had spent 2 paisa on new employee who is totally unproductive. ;)

Its not my fault you see, after 5 years of REST if suddenly somebody is asking me to work. How could that happen?

I had never reached office before 10:30, and here timings are 9-6. Gosh!! And to add to the misery I have my another teammate who is more like "Adarsh team member"(something similar to adarsh bahu), he comes to office before my manager and stays till 7.00pm , that too without work and Internet (I mean our office has blocked all major chats/orkut/blogging sites. how could you survive man!). And I'm the person who consider herself nothing less that a BOSS. So , I reach by 10:30 and leave by exact 6 ;).

Anyways, it would be fun to work!! Meeting new people and analysing them and cribbing about Bosses and managers, is my favourite pastime.

Flight vs Railways

This idea of comparison crawled into my mind...on my way back journey to pune.

Somehow, I still feet "railways" are just the best! And there could be no comparison in terms of its merits!

I mean, it is said that by air you reduce the time of travel, and I feel I in a way it increases. As first, airport would be at the other corner of your city then you need to check in at least an hour before, then limitation of luggage, many thinks which cant be carried in your cabin baggage , then as you checked in early and you are strolling at the airport, you see so many good shops and as you are simply idle you land up buying those expensive materials and eating the delicacies as well. (Could you be live it I at Hyderabad airport had wada for just rs 80.)

Then, once you settle in on those uncomfortable seats you are served by food (at least in Air India it is mandatory), again which is not of your choice, but as a typical INDIAN MENTALITY... arrey paise diye hain... khana to padega hi... you eat it!!

Then once you landed , again wait for your luggage.... and then again your travelling time.

But there is an advantage , you could see "good air hostess" now that's just for men. What about me!!

On the other hand, with train you just spend the time more!! You have an option to catch train just 2 Min's before your departure, or even if you got late , you can ask someone to pull chain or catch it from next station (as was done in JAB WE MET). Then , train would stop usually at each station and if it doesn't, people make it stop! You can enjoy so many delicacies at a reasonable rate and not just once but infinite number of times. You get such a comfortable berth. you can stand on them, sit on them and also jump on them. ;)

I mean I don't see any "demerits" of train travel ....

Its just a paisa vasool for me at least!!

I Want To Sleep...

Ever since I came to this guest house, I wake up at 5.00. No Suddenly I'm not changed to a religious/spiritual personality but its due to the "alarm clock".

My caretaker has two assistant, who sleep in the apartment, and as they need to cook for the whole lot they might fix up an alarm of 5.00 a.m. But , it happens that I wake up because of that irritating alarm, try to sleep by putting pillow over my ear or the quilt , but when nothing works, I open up my eyes, count up to 100 , thinking that they might wake up and switch off the sound. But all in vain.

Finally , I get up , drink water open up the door and then try to figure out where the alarm watch is kept and finally I switch it off. And what I see.. those two people who are sleeping on floor with just a bed sheet are deep in sleep and me who is not able to sleep in spite of a warm quilt, a cozy bed, and room equipped with AC/fan just due to an irritating sound being produced at a distance of 35-40 ms.

Why am I so delicate?

I have many times seen people sleeping peacefully under a tree, on a roadside (with huge traffic and honking at its best), and me ... I get up with just a pinch of a sound!!

I still envy those people who could sleep at anytime and any place!!Because I guess that's the biggest asset one could ever posses and would remain his forever!!

I want to sleep now :)

New Office

I have suddenly started getting a feel of 'corporate life". For long working in private cum government office , it is suddenly painful to adjust in this life.

It just two days that I joined and I got a mail from HR saying you havent devoted 9 hrs to office.Uff... arrey its just two days that I joined baba!!

In just two days, I was given my email id, my access card and a system. Uddi baba!! Earlier we used to wait atleast for a month to get one of these.

Anyways, I'm enjoying my trip... after so long... a vacation...

Apart from office, I dont have any trouble in life ;). Hope that also gets sorted out soon ;)

Life is a mystery and I just love to solve it :D

Cappuccino Dusk - Book Review

Yes it’s a debut novel of Kankana Basu and what a relief it’s not about IIT’s and IIM’s stories.

Actually recently crossword, Walden and many other book stores were just flooded with the IIT’s and IIM’s stories. I wonder is it because of an increase in MBA’s and IIT ians or is it because they have nothing to do so let’s write a book. And that’s the reason may be that very few docs get there book published. Now you know who works and who doesn’t. And I too belong to the latter category ;)

Anyways coming back to my Cappuccino Dusk…

The story starts silently (and a bit lengthy as well) giving you a picture of a Bengali family moving to Mumbai and then the normal “tic-tac-toe” to sustain and make a living.
And then it revolves around the five characters… four children and one mother. The Banerjee family!!

However with a slow start the story do have a good plot of Maltesh… who joins the newspaper as a cartoonist and it unfolds very well in the last chapters of cappuccino dusk.

Sadly though, none of it really comes together. At no point do you find yourself as a reader turning the pages of Cappuccino Dusk in bated breath; will Sid get his scholarship or will daughter of Head Professor get it? Will Bonny get married? Will Subroto lose his hatred for women? Will Mustafa overcome prejudices against Muslims and live happily ever after?

And then there’s the shock denouement; I won’t give it away, but it did appear suddenly, as if out of a hat. Nothing in the book leads up to that particular conclusion. Certainly it left me feeling extremely dissatisfied. But then again, perhaps life is like that.

History repeats itself... and it feels great to experience the same joy and excitement.

I got my first job in hyderabad in 2004 and after five years I got my second job again in hyderabad. Landing on the same land ... it feels great...it does...

I remember , my early days when I used to run in hi-tech city in those shared autos... struggling with hindi in telgu style :). It was fun....

they change there gadgets with every exciting launch
they change there cars with every new release
we are forced to change a rented house every 11 months
many who change there nationality as well.... talking about the green card holders!!

changing place... i mean relocation...
and many are there who change there SEX as well..

Keep Off the Grass- Book Review

I’m wondering how this book got published!

Actually to me it was referred by my manager(as Karan Bajaj was his friend) and my friend. And so I purchased this book. But I’m now cursing myself to get the original version, I could have at least bought the pirated one ;-) . Now that’s just a joke. Actually a writer (myself…ofcourse I write blogs and so I consider myself a writer ;)) shouldn’t do this to another writer ;)

After reading this book you’ll realize that it could be better edited and instead of a novel could be named as a collection of short stories. But still it would fail to impress I could assure you.

The story describes a guy working and earning lakhs at wall street and suddenly wants to come back to India to find its roots. That’s really a gesture to salute. But then story stops entertaining you. The usual Indian masala is missing. The student is locked in IIM Bangalore campus and what he describes is the education system in and out . Whats big deal in that?

I was actually expecting the hurdles he had to face … rather then describing the education system in India.

I’, really wondering how he manged to get his work published.

I would end my review by only saying “Congratulations on your first book…Mr Bajaj!!!”

Time Out!!

Holidays are about to end.... yes the saddest part of life is that nothing is constant!! I'll miss my "rajai"... ginger tea..... sitting in sun for hours and listening to auntie's and colony gossip.

But some good things are waiting for me, so need to pack up from here.

My 2010 clebration was short and sweet!!! On 31st night I decided to prepare cake for parents (which was actually for me in the name of parents), at about 10 o clock it was ready, mom went to sleep before that as she was very tired. My father and me.... no no... I only cut the cake and gave one piece to my father and had two pieces for myself. And by 10:30 I was there on my bed, buried deep under my rajai!!!

So finally new year has come!!! Another year .... would be surely fun to chase it....

I'm on leave and at my hometown, enjoying winters... rajai and ginger tea.!!

Its really fun , to be at home, earlier when I was here this was "my world" no other problems, no cocerns , no worries(even for studies parents were more worried than me ;)), everything used to revolve around parents and there concepts.

And when you are back at home , again the same starts. Mom's colony and rishtedaar 's news, papa's disciplined and punctual life.Why I'm saying all this?

Today, we were about to make "papad" and suddenly my nani called and said due to "chandragrahan" you shouldnt make papad today. Its not good. But when I asked grahan would be at night and not now, she said by 11 o clock we would have ved started...!! Now what is ved... I have no clue, but due to this our bhagwan ji was sleeping by 10:30am. I love it man!!

At home, every day I have some new story to tell...!! Wish I could have started my blogging during my school days.... :)

Anyways , any new plans... for new year? I m still thiking of a resolution!!!
