Nomophobia

I’m not sure how many of them are aware of this, but just saw this yesterday on V [I]Q. The question was :

What is nomophobia(even MS Word is showing it in red saying it needs a spell check ;-))?

And people came up with weird answers …

  • No More Phobia
  • Fear of Numbers
  • A type of computer virus..
The answer is, It is the fear of being out of mobile phone contact - and it's the plague of our 24/7 age.

  3. Totally agree.. not just the phone, but also its services. On my recent Shirdi trip, there was no GPRS signal on roaming.. I was off the internet for 2 full days!!

    when u are affected bya disease u cant keep on saying its symptoms to each and every person but come out with its name..
    its quite a similar thing...
